If Star has pulled out of the race, then it has only got EPL and some tennis Grand Slams, that are worth watching. So Select channels would only be enough for that.

I think their epl license expire in one year. Next auction on 2019.

It's highly unlikely that it will extend beyond 12 noon. If Star has pulled out, then either of the Jio or Sony would be waiting for the other party to buckle down. It's already a sky high amount and anything beyond this would be total madness.
