Very dull process
Tender process used to be exciting but ya this is transparent(most importantly).

Just imagine how telecom company buy airwaves which lasts 10 days. Jio should hv got fair experience in this e auction already thanks to its telecom experience

Err... this is not only Digital Rights. This is television rights too. So its not entirely dependent on internet. It is a bid for a broadcaster to get TV rights. If Jio wins, it will be Network18 channels, and they will launch plenty new channels too.

I agree. TV broadcast will find its way to reach common man. Not an issue. I am more concerned for Digital. If they go by current process like only Jio users can view the match, then its a big let down.
