Was auto renewal set bro? Or u have paid through any other payment options?

Auto renewal was off. But now it is on after I made the latest payment.

How does one turn off the "Auto-renewal" of the Prime membership?

Spoke too soon, I figured it out. On the Manage Your Prime -> End Membership & Benefits -> Continue to cancel -> End membership on <date>

That did it.

Click on End Membership, it will give you options : cancel it now or cancel it on 4th Oct 2021 something like that, select 2nd one

I think you don't have Auto-Renewal. Your have a Prepaid Subscription.

My Prime membership was due in next few days. Amazon offered Rs 100 discount so I was able to renew it at Rs 899.
