When you add a Prime voucher to your account, it doesn't immediately activate the Prime membership. Instead, the voucher remains valid until it expires (typically around 12 months).

For example, I added a ₹150 Prime voucher from Paytm about 6 months ago and recently used it to activate my Prime subscription.

Previously, I subscribed to Prime through the Fleek app. When I clicked on Redeem, it redirected me to Amazon, and after entering the code, the membership was activated instantly.

I'm curious was your voucher a Prime balance voucher like the ones Paytm offers, or was it a direct subscription voucher?
It is an subscription voucher (I got to know this just a while ago) I tried to add it in voucher section but it didn't work,

Now Amazon offering selected customers to subscribe at 999 and prime lite 599
