All villages have now been electrified! 💥
This sounds like a very big achievement but it's not. For a village to be "electrified", only 10% houses need to have access to electricity.

So if there's a village where 90% houses don't have electricity, it will still be called as an Electrified Village.

There is another criteria also over and above this 10%, which says all public places like panchayat, hospital, schools needs to be electrified only then village will be called electrified.

On top of that some people just don't need electricity as per them and see it as extra expense. our village has electricity from long time but still my house maid don't have electricity who lives few 100 metre away. I myself filled her application many times but most probably she did not submit that in office.

Right every village having electricity doesn't means every house having electricity.

Thread title is absolutely fine and as per govt notification and what your just stated here.

Govt did not say all home has electricity, they said all village now have electricity so villagers can apply for new electricity connection to their respective electricity office which they couldn't do earlier as no electricity in their respective Village.

And guess what even connecting all village took us 70 years after independence

If we challenge it,Govt. will waste our crores of rupees as lawyer fees to defend their stand and court's time wil also be wasted.

Are not we challenging in other cases ? Biggest recent example is Aadhaar. And in many cases Govt is losing too. So why not in this case ?
