Good, this way if Govt can arrest piracy. But I do not think Govt. will use it for this petty purpose. Their target is on matters relating to national security, economic offences and so on.

If this was the matter, I would have been happy.
But it would be used to weak the opposition and ctitisizer of govt may be in trouble.

This was Intentionally advt. by this govt. so that all the blames would be with Congress.
Current govt. Were doing it from the beginning, but now make it legal.

Look I am not aginst Snooping as believe every Govt should soonp evey comunication because it may revel some terrorist activity and bomb blast. But Oppositon should not behave like govt is trying to become daddy and control everything whereas in reality one could argue they also did same when they were in power

I am not saying fake. It was done earlier too.
But as current govt is justifying the same referring to previous govt. , it is wrong.
Anything wrong is wrong, no matter Modi or rahul do it.

But problem is that, govt will not use for this purpose.
It will only for opposition, officials, judges, industrialist etc
