I don't see the reason people are awaiting a response from Jio for the removal of FUP on offnet calls. It's pretty clear from when they introduced the IUC charge that they are net debitors due to their #1 position meaning that they have mostly outgoing rather than incoming and hence it logically does not make sense for them to give unlimited calling like before unless IUC is removed (which is highly doubtful seeing the long term plans with IUC charges included). At a current structure, the market is pretty varied and in a better position - those looking for data opt for Jio and those looking for voice opt for AVOID.

Use whatever works best for you at your respective area.

Meanwhile at my place Jio 4G speed is very good.

I personally don't find that speed to be very good compared to what AirTel provides...But if it is sufficient for you then well & good... 😊

Bro Airtel speed sucks most of parts my city. Vodafone Idea is doing well in my area as compared to Jio but, Jio is covering all the parts with some average and some good speed.
So, in same way he's sharing his own opinion about Jio and didn't mention Airtel Speed test so why drag and quote his reply about Airtel?

You may not have read my earlier comments in this same thread where I wrote how much crap Jio is in my area & also to most of the remote places I have visited so far...He said he is getting very good speeds from Jio, that's why I mentioned that, I personally don't find that speed as a very good speed...

That Airtel part is mine... I shared before my experiences with Airtel in this thread... Like he said Jio is best for him, same way I replied that Airtel is best for me as it gives me 40-70 mbps speed all the time at my location..

What is the use of 40 to 70mbps speed in mobile device with limited data usage of daily 1.5 to 2 gb FUP? Higher speed only benefits with unlimited usage like some of the local broadband providers is offering with true unlimited without any kind of FUP sh#t.

And I started the post with saying that "use whatever best working for you at your place".

I visited some of the remotest rural places in Hooghly, Bardhaman district and Jio speed coverage is superb.
20-30mbps speed is enough to watch YouTube, hotstar in 1080p.
What will you do with that 70mbps speed with only 2gb data. It will vanish within minutes.

I am talking about jungles like Dooars & high hill stations here, not just some rural places...I have already wrote about that previously in this same thread so not repeating again...

Both Aniruddha Dhar & your comments didn't make any sense to me at all...You said you guys get 18-30 Mbps speeds & I said I get 70 Mbps speed...

When you saw that you guys get less speeds in Jio, you guys diverted the topic to something else...If you get less speeds in Jio, that's your problem, not mine...

And for your kind info, I don't watch videos on my mobile...I already have 80 Mbps Fully Unlimited Fiber Optic broadband in my home...

I already have Fiber Optic 80 Mbps true Unlimited broadband which I mostly use...So, that 2GB FUP is more than enough for me as I don't watch videos on mobile...You have FUP also on your Jio, so what's the big deal ??
