I think now the burden has been reduced or the price hike lost its anticipation some days before.
Those who recharged 199 plan previously have to pay just 20 more (219 plan). No matter whether the offering is 1GB/day or 1.5GB/day unless they are data hungry ones. If they are willing to pay 399, can avail UL pack at 199/ month(As of earlier). Making calls UL became a relief for Airtel,Idea, Vodafone users. On the other hand going up to higher packs, there is considerable increase in price exists.
Even Jio's tariff is cheaper, IUC is still a dissatisfaction factor.

If IUC will be zero by TRAI, then AVOID can easily remove all smart recharges (Rs.23,49&79) for 4G/Smart phone consumers.

Nothing will happen for 2 years as Govt. of India has allowed 2 years grace for payment
LOL just wait and watch for the shutdown in 2020. :ROFLMAO: :rofl2:
Government is not having enough money to invest in psu's. Yes government will give some relief but that will not fulfill Vodafone Chairman's Demand.
He is Blackmailing Government by his statement.
Ultimately he has to shut shop by the end of Dec 2020.
So Better not to Recharge any long term plan for Voda and Idea. They might ditch you in the middle and exit India and run away with your long term invested money

It is no doubt that they have been blackmailing the government and it's not exclusive to the telecom sector but recently the real state sector also has send caution signals to the government. Government with it's gross mismanagement has made it possible for corporates to blackmail the government.

Birla want the AGR penalties and interests waived which constitute a major chunk of the overall due. You being happy about it is distasteful and you must be cautious about what you wish for. I hope you have seen what happens in a duopoly. If not, check Canada's telecom tariff. I seriously want all companies to make profit as there will be no competition if there are no competitors.

Yesterday, a lot of people were rejoicing about the encounters which happened but put yourself in the shoes first. What would happen if you were wrongly picked up by the cops and shot dead without any trial. It sets a dangerous precedent. This is an example of how people like you are so short sighted. Laughing about a shutdown in already doomed economy.

Weird...I get those speeds near Dunlop which is in North Kolkata...I always get full bars from AirTel & atleast 3-4 bars on Vodafone which also provides good data speeds here...
currently I'm out of the city, so giving last July's screenshots.

(speeds are in bits, not bytes!)

I doubt how legit these charts are since it's from TRAI so they might favor Jio in every location of India...

Here are mine...

I personally don't agree with the above chart...Both Airtel & Vodafone provide way better services in my area & Jio doesn't even provide 3G speeds here & I turned on the location on my laptop & let it access my real (almost) location by GPS...Even the Cellone data is fake in the chart because on my BSNL 3G, I get around 7-10 Mbps which is still higher than Jio in my area...I took all of these just now & the Jio's lead difference is totally fake...

but you receive full network coverage, I don't.
I've used all 4 sims, and found only jio is better in network coverage.

check the screenshot of my airtel app

Yes the chart maybe true in your area...But what about my results ?? I get 40-70 from Airtel here with excellent call connectivity which can also be seen from the Open network screenshot & I get only 1-2 Mbps in Jio...Still Jio is leading with huge margin in my area according to the TRAI chart...
