Discussion Airtel, Vodafone Idea Removing IUC Charges

Vodaone's network is very good in Kolkata too...That's why I have been using both AirTel & Vodafone in my dual-sim phone...After AirTel, Vodafone is my 2nd choice of network...But Vodafone's customer care sucks big time...Even on FB & twitter they always send copy-pasted robotic replies without even reading the comments...All of these are good until you need to call customer care & when you will try to explain a technical issue to them, you will understand that none of these customer care people knows nothing about the technicalities of their own system...Our questions are always like "out of syllabus" questions for them...

For me customer care is the most important factor on choosing any service. That's why I use Jio, Amazon and Tata Sky because of chat based customer service with instant response.

I think someone told me in the DTH section that TS's customer care service is very bad ? I don't remember the name of the member though...Maybe he tries to call the phone support & get bad service, not sure...I remember telling him that, I used to think TS is so expensive because they provide the best service & he also replied to me saying that he also thought the same before but he gets bad support from TS...

I don't know their service post installation as I never required their service. But I find their portal pathetic as its always down when you need it most like before a cricket match.

Jio's rates are cheapest for only heavy data internet users. For rest of the users IUC is too much.

In the past one month, I've recharged for 100 rupees additionally. So I am paying almost 799 for 84 days... Which is very costly I would say.

The reason why they removed IUC is coz already their plan is costlier compared to Jio and without UL calls Jio will promote by saying "Why Pay more for data & Voice when we fit in your Pocket"

Now Jio is the costliest Service Provider in the market. If someone needs to make more calls, Jio is not for them.

That's why they started to break their promises... Lifetime free calls, 49 Plan for Jio phone etc... We've been saying this for years.... Nobody is saint here...
