Ans. here are no changes to packs/bundles, channels, pricing, or OTT benefits.

Que. Can current DTH customers switch to IPTV?
Ans. DTH customers can't upgrade to IPTV. There are no incentives to switch from Android to IPTV.

Two days after you posted this message, IPTV was launched officially by Airtel.

Reference: Breaking - Airtel IPTV is now launched - discuss about availability here

However, no clarity on the raised questions yet. One thing is confirmed that since IPTV won't be sold separately so it can not be used in prepaid mode like DTH after unbundling from Black connection.

need to understand this

My IPTV box was working smoothly when connected to

1) Fiber router/modem provided by airtel, i ,e, Xstream Fiber wifi
2) connected to 5G mobile hotspot either on 5G or 4G mode with airtel sim card

but failed to run channels when connected to
1) Redmi 4g mobile with airtel sim
2) 4G wireless router with airtel sim

but surprisingly Youtube was working fine in all 4 condition

Need to test again with iphone with /without airtel sim

So something is mystry

Yes, you can.

As per Airtel's FAQs, it costs Rs. 750 per additional STB and up to 3 additional STBs allowed. However, no clarity about monthly subscription charges.

then Black sales team called and gave info that for secondary IPTV

there are two option
1) rs1304-, include rs1000 for STB and monthly rs304 withouts any HD channel
2) rs1413- STB cost 1000 and monthly pack of rs413

You have to pay Rs.300 to 400+ pack price every month for secondary connection as no benefits (Rs.350+gst) like primary connection.

No i meant secondary connection like another broadband connection instead of paying 400+ only for secondary settop box.
