Are you getting Airtel signal in your area. Have you tried with other Airtel sim?
Try to insert that sim in other phone and scan for network manually. Take it to another location. If all that doesn't help then go to Airtel store.

Our village has only Vooda mini store, Nearest airtel store 100 km away and no rail. :verysad:

I hope local shop retailer will be able to solve it otherwise no point in travelling 200 km

Airtel signal is there, even my friend's airtel SIM is working fine on my handset on same slot. Just my airtel sim not getting signal.

Local retailer might not be able to solve your problem. If it require Sim replacement then, they won't be able to fix it.
Contact Airtel CC via phone, twitter or E-mail. Let them try to fix or identify the problem. After that take further action.
