Jio and Airtel creating duopoly in the market, nothing else, both the networks are miserable in certain areas, even in metro cities, they finished marginal players like Tata docomo which was worship for middle class people, courtesy -Late ratan Tata sir
Cannot make a generalised comparison as i have stated Airtel still leads in the urban and even small town areas be it coverage or quality of service....in rural areas yes Jio, BSNL have more coverage but again Airtel still is not far behind

When they were creating n no. Of ads regarding lifetime incoming free, Airtel should have mentioned all the terms and conditions in the ad itself, it's not customer's responsibility, it's the service providers responsibility to clarify all the terms and conditions, it's called as misleading the customer and tarnish their trust
Buddy such things r never mentioned in any ads, these r always stated in T&C's as each offer is governed by different rules

IMO it's unethical to not to make customer aware of hidden terms and conditions, they always leave such kind of gaps to loot the customers
Not sure if you remember, when the lifetime free was introduced, it was valid until for a few years only. It was exactly the end date of their license. Though it was unethical to terminate lifetime validity inspite of them telling it's lifetime, the same was done by Jio by charging 10p for outgoing calls. Similarly, their 20% less price promise does not match for certain plans now. Everyone changes based on the situation. None of their word is true.
