For Me Also 4G Network Gone @ 2pm Yesterday.
Trying To Call Them But Call Not Connecting, Only Beep... On 121.
After 10 Minutes Call Connected Told Me Maintenance Running, Wait For 4 Hours.
But It Back Within Half Hour.

Power gone and Airtel network switched from 4G LTE to Edge (2G) network. Looks like they don't have fuel to run generator that powers tower. Earlier this was the case with Reliance (Rcom) and Jio. But now Jio works fine irrespective of power cuts.

This happens at my location too.

Called airtel number . Both have Airtel 4G Volte
But as soon as calls get connected , VOLTE vanished and switched to 2G network

And as soon as calls get disconnected , Airtel automatically switched to VoLTE.
It seems VOLTE is totally a marketing gimmick

Just to check, I called from my airtel number to my Jio number (I don't have another airtel number). VoLTE was working fine.
The problem was I wasn't able to hear anything from Airtel side and from Jio side I was able to hear someone talking to someone. I called again from my Airtel number to Jio and this time Jio side got silent and Airtel side was like ringing (even after picking up the call from Jio) -- Hear someone saying "Hello" -- again ringing (this time, caller tune - faded, by Alan Walker) -- Again someone picks up the call. After that, I disconnected it.
The third time it worked as it should.

(LTE = Jio Sim in the phone and 4G = Airtel sim in the phone)

Yes, same for many months. I think beta program is now closed.
