Xiaomi is setting up three new smartphone factories in India to meet demand

Xiaomi started assembling phones in India back in 2015 — committing to the government's Make in India initiative — and now the company is announcing that it is launching three new smartphone manufacturing facilities in the country. Xiaomi made the announcement at its inaugural Supplier Investment Summit, where it is hosting 50 global smartphone component suppliers to educate them about the intricacies of India's manufacturing ecosystem.

Huawei equipped the Y6 (2018) with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, but there is a microSD slot on the left side of the phone, the right being occupied by the volume rocker and the power button. There is no physical fingerprint scanner on the phone - the phone uses Face Unlock.

Tamil nadu protests

where did I not agree. I said ur demands for water is valid, other states also are demanding. But protesting against IPL, defexpo is not right. Throwing shoe is not right

@Anish Pai
The problem is u don't understand the basic point we wanted to tell... Now have an open mind and listen to this...
First thing is we are not wanting the ownership of cauvery.. We want the board to be formed by the central government and the board will issue the water to all the four states according to supreme Court's order
Second thing is we are not against ipl or cricket.. We love them as much as u do.. And this crowd was the one who gave a standing ovation when Pakistan won a test match. The incidents u r quoting are the ones which the people of TN are also against (shoe thrown on the ground). The protest was planned to be a peaceful one asking for ipl matches to be moved till the cauvery issue is over. But some fringe group changed the scene totally into a chaos. Now u just see this and leave out the other things which isn't fair. And even when the shoe was thrown everyone went up shouting CSK.. CSK... (against the ones who threw).

The next thing is we r not against the defence expo.. It was to oppose the pm who is silent in this issue and other issues too... And u ask why do guys do such things, its shameful, the answer for this is we have protested and opposed in every level possible and now we are pushed to do these things. So it should be shameful for the government not the people. Do u think we desire to do protests continously for no reason or a dumb reason. I am not asking u to support us. JUST UNDERSTAND US if u r willing to.

Breaking Seven and Foxtel win mega-deal for Australian cricket broadcasting rights

Cricket fans will be reaching for their remotes this summer, as Foxtel and Seven grab broadcasting rights in a historic change-of-channels deal, reportedly worth $1 billion.

The deal will see Seven West Media own the free-to-air broadcasting rights for Australian Test Matches, but not all international matches on Australian soil will be shown on Seven.

With Fox providing the majority of the funds to bankroll the deal, international One Dayers and T20s are set to be shown exclusively to pay-TV audiences in a controversial move.

Jio in talks with Qualcomm to launch laptops

A laptop with a SIM card -- after smartphones and the 4G feature phone -- could be the next big bet for Reliance Jio in its bid to increase its average revenue per user (ARPU).

“…we have talked to Jio. They could take the device and bundle it with data and content,” Miguel Nunes, senior director, product management, Qualcomm Technologies, told ET.

Globally, Qualcomm is already working with players such as HP, Asus and Lenovo for the so-called “Always Connected PCs”.

The chipmaker is also talking to home-bred Internet of Things (IoT) brand Smartron to bring the Snapdragon 835-powered laptops with cellular connectivity. Smartron confirmed the talks.
