I'm seeking Help Regarding services of BSNL
My Recharge Plan expired 10 days ago & BSNL stopped Incoming and outgoing Calls , sms on my Number

As per trai laws there's clear guidelines to all operators related this issue 90 days uninterrupted services Something like that Correct me if I'm wrong

Now neither I'm able to receive calls nor able to connect with customer care to escalate my issue

So kindly help with this I already recharged my jio numbers and port my secondary sim to BSNL thought that services keep running and plans are cheaper for secondary sim

Good News Dark Patterns: How Websites Trick You into Unwanted Decisions

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs held a meeting on May 28, 2025, with over 50 e-commerce companies to tackle the issue of dark patterns — deceptive design tricks that manipulate consumers into making choices they wouldn’t normally make. The government is pushing for more transparency, especially regarding donations and hidden charges, and has already sent notices to 11 companies violating guidelines.

They also launched three apps: Jagruti, Jago Grahak Jago, and Jagruti Dashboard, to educate consumers about these manipulative tactics and help them protect themselves. Some common dark patterns include creating false urgency, adding hidden charges, and making subscriptions hard to cancel.

The goal is to create a more transparent, fair e-commerce ecosystem, where consumers can make informed decisions without being tricked. It’s a solid step in the right direction — what do you guys think? any experience regarding this?

Dark patterns are sneaky tricks websites and apps use to get you to do things you didn’t mean to. It could be stuff like hiding extra fees until checkout, making you feel rushed to buy with fake "limited stock" messages, or making it hard to cancel a subscription. Basically, it's all about manipulating you into actions that benefit the company, not you.

Sources suggest that companies have agreed to remove dark pattern let's see what happens.

Seeking Help Tata Play Binge Mega account not working on mobile and laptops

Even after I've paid ₹399/month (Mega Monthly Plan, which has 34 apps) to access all OTT app content in Tata Play Binge, it's still asking to subscribe, even after I've refreshed my account, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing data, cache and restarting the app. App is in the latest version.

Half-baked Tata Play Binge representatives (both on social media and on phone) provide only generic Android fixes, which I clearly did in the first paragraph but to no avail. Laptop also faces the same issue.

In the first image, it demands me money to watch SonyLIV content (Image 1), despite having a subscription of 34 apps, which covers SonyLIV also. This isn't limited to SonyLIV alone, and it extends to all 34 apps in Tata Play Binge (Image 2). But I have no problem watching the same on TV. And the plan I have covers TV, Mobile and Laptops.

Did Tata Play Binge intentionally make all the plans accessible only on TV?

Discussion Unauthorized ₹436 PMJJBY Deduction from Bank Account

• Hey friends, I need your help with something annoying that happened with my bank(SBI). They took ₹436 from my account on May 27, 2025, for some insurance thing called PMJJBY (Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana). The problem is, I never signed up for it or agreed to any auto-debit! It’s totally unauthorized, and I’m pretty upset because they didn’t even tell me. This isn’t allowed as per RBI rules, and it’s caused me a headache.

• I am thinking of filing a complaint to the bank tommorow by visting branch (as it's located at walking distance from my home) asking for:

• My ₹436 back with some interest (like 3.5% savings account rate).

• Cancel any link to this insurance so it doesn’t happen again.

• An explanation of why this happened.

• If they say it's subscribed by me i'll ask them to prove it. ( I never subscribed to this)

• ₹5,000 as compensation for the trouble and stress.

• I will also ask them to check if they did this in previous years and refund those amounts too. I'll give them 30 days to fix it, or I’ll take it to the RBI Ombudsman.

Ps. If you guys thinking why to do all this for just ₹436 , they have done simmilar things in my family member's accounts also before for various reasons, i am fed up with all this,

And i never wanted an account in sbi it was opned by my parents for me in around 2016, i've tried to close this account earlier but sbi can't even do that,

I am no mood to forgive them this time, i have never activated netbanking and yono in this account and i also never registered any email, so they can't say that i have activated it online and if they say you have activated it offline they i'll ask for physical/written evidence which they don't have because i've never done that they'll have give me refund + interest + compensation this time.

What do you guys think I should do? Is ₹5,000 fair for compensation, or should I ask for more/less? Should I do anything else to make sure the bank takes this seriously? Any advice or similar experiences? Thanks!

JioFiber Postpaid Billing Query

I came across a video where the guy was explaining the JioFiber postpaid billing cycle
I was surprised to learn that it's quite different from Airtel postpaid where the bill keeps generating continuously

In JioFiber postpaid they provide a 10-day grace period to pay the bill
If the bill isn't paid within that time they disconnect the service
Once the payment is made along with a late fee the service is reactivated

Is this true?

Seeking Help Please suggest for new Airtel xstream fiber connection options

I am planning to busy airtel Exstream fiber with Rs.699 plan 40 mb speed. Expected this connection to support my office wfh support and dth channel viewing .

Pls clarify and share your experience.

1.is it worth buy this fiber + dth combo? Wil it reduce net speed if dth running time.

2. Dth any package/plan available and we can choose while order. Since I am looking primary tamil,sports and kids channels.. Will they do any dth odu dish setup?

3.some forums mentioned as airtel fiber exstream provide , satelite based or internet based dth ... which one they give while install and which dth model is better without affecting the net speed ..

4. Is dth will run if fiber connection not working time (if satelite based dth option)

5. Any difference satelite based dth and internet based dth option, plans, channels wise...


Pls share Your experience and comments. It will helpful me.to choose right option.
