Microsoft gives parents peace of mind with new family features across devices - Windows Experience Blog
Family safety settings in Windows 10 and Xbox One: With families today owning more personal devices than ever, including kids at increasingly younger ages, we’ve invested in family settings that work across devices and platforms. A core set of family safety settings – including the ability to block mature content and apps, set screen time limits, and review kids’ purchase requests – have long been available for Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One devices. These settings help parents keep kids safer, while also fostering independence and letting kids do homework, research, and be creative, using technology as a powerful learning tool.
Safer online spending with Ask a parent: One especially useful setting, called Ask a parent, lets parents avoid surprise spending on Xbox or the Microsoft Store by receiving notifications when kids want to make a purchase. Parents can decide whether to approve based on the maturity level, cost, and whether it fits within screen time allowed. From the kids’ perspective, it’s a good way to let Mom or Dad know what cool new game they want. From the parents’ perspective, it’s a good way to help kids manage temptations (such as in-app purchases) and make good choices.
Shared family notebook in OneNote: Earlier this month we released the new family notebook in OneNote. We know families are busier than ever and with a family notebook your whole family can stay in sync and organized – from shopping lists to vacation planning, the whole family can share, edit and access information in one place.

Swiggy testing WhatsApp enterprise solution for real-time alerts on orders

Swiggy will now test WhatsApp’s enterprise solution, and help provide quick real-time alerts on user orders via the Facebook-owned messaging update. The food delivery service is rolling out this feature, and some users would have already started receiving messages on WhatsApp.

Under WhatsApp’s enterprise solution that provides real-time alerts, Swiggy app users can rely on the Swiggy chat window for exclusive updates within the app. The WhatsApp service via Swiggy will provide regular updates like ‘order accepted’, ‘order in kitchen’, ‘delivery in process’ and ‘order delivered’. So instead of Swiggy sending text messages via SMS, it will now rely on WhatsApp for the same.

Seeking Help Suggest me a good phone upto 13K

Usually we're giving suggestions according to thread starter's requirements. I think you blindly suggested RN5 pro without checking his requirements. He want to use 2 sim + SD card. It is not at all possible in RN5 pro because it have a hybrid slot. Then coming to the Android version, RN5 pro comes with Nougat while ZenFone Max comes with Oreo & promises the update till Android Q.
Okay admitted I didn't see both the sim and micro SD requirements. But I am telling out of my experience with that brand. The updates they talk about is all hoax. They'll promise a release cadence, say sorry due to testing this version can't be released now, they repeat it thrice, in the end you get updates very late. Had this phone been under the Android one program, my thoughts would have been different.

This happened with all the Android upgrades on zf5: 4.4, 5.0, zf2 for 6.0 and zf3 for 7.0 . So I'm posting whatever I've had from my experience with Asus mobiles.

Good News Get 100% cashback on Apple Music & Hotstar Premium on Citi Credit Cards for 6 months

Anyone else subscribed it?

I got it on 10th April @199 and it was automatically renewed in May @199.But I have not received any cashback so far.

Should I continue or cancel my subscription ?

They have mentioned "Cashback amount shall be credited on or before 90 business days from the date of transaction (date of charge to the card) to all open and active card members’ account only. The timeline provided for effecting credit is only indicative of expected period and may vary from the actual date of credit" but what if they don't give cashback.

How much time to charge to have better battery life in a new mobile.

Don't drain beyond 10% and don't charge beyond 90% .
And obviously Use original accessories
I charge the device till 90% from 10% daily and once every week 5% to 100%

So 2 posts saying don't charge beyond 90%. This is news to me. Could you weigh in more on why this practice please?
