Can we pair IR TV remote with IPTV remote for volume, mute, source and power like old Xstream box remote ?

I can not comment about IR remote because my TV has RF remote.

Pairing with TV was auto done by STB software and as soon as I enabled HDMI CEC it started working without any manual efforts.

Bro your TV comes with IR Blaster function?

We discussed this before also, I remember.

Thats why I asked you bro, because I can't trust CC always. I tried my TV with Tata Play HD+ STB also but still was unable to operate it with Sony tv remote. But I can operate my Sony Home Theater with TV Remote like volume + or -, On and Off through HDMI eARC Port.
Thats why asked you today again 😅
Sorry for off topic in this thread.

I've LG TV and HDMI CEC work for only power on/off for me. With old Xstream remote, we can config tv, av, volume, mute buttons to control tv through IR. But, I think with new IPTV remote we can only control through HDMI CEC

I can also confirm that in lg tv hdmi cec function is not working with airtel iptv stb.

Airtel is not providing it's IPTV remote tv pairing . Are they gone mad we have to use two remote in this smart technology age .. why Airtel why are you dumb enough to do that . Airtel customer care told me about this problem while I asked them about it.

If you have CEC support on your smart tv then you can just turn on it it will turn on and turnoff then when you turn on and turnoff iptv stb.

You can pair your Airtel IPTV stb with your phone google tv remove and its work perfectly. You can change TV channel, you Switch on or off you STB only volume button doesn't work. I have uploaded image and best part it's doesn't required IR blaster it work on bluetooth.
