Bharti Airtel on Wednesday announced the acquisition of a stake in Edtech startup Lattu Kids as part of the Airtel Startup Accelerator Program. The stake acquisition will enable Bharti Airtel to bring premium digital learning content over its network to make learning fun for millions of kids across India.
Lattu Kids has a specialty in digital learning tools for children. The app focuses on improving English vocabulary, English reading, and Maths skills for children under the age of 10 years through entertaining, fun learning animated videos and games.
The acquisition of stake adds Edtech to the digital content portfolio and give distribution scale to quality learning material from Lattu Kids. Lattu Kids is the fourth company to join Airtel’s accelerator program.
