Amazon has launched the Echo Pop Smart Speaker in India. The Echo Pop features a 1.95-inch front-firing speaker, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and an AZ2 Neural Edge processor for faster responses. According to the company, the Echo Pop is made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled fabric and 80 percent recycled aluminum. Moreover, it has a low-power mode that conserves energy during inactivity.

Amazon Echo Pop Smart Speaker features a 1.95-inch (49.5mm) front-firing speaker with lossless audio support. The device supports hands-free music from Amazon Music, Hungama, Spotify, Jio Saavn, and Apple Music. With Amazon Alexa voice commands, users can easily control various smart home devices, such as lights, ACs, geysers, and smart plugs.
Further, the speaker comes with dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth connectivity with support for Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), which allows users to stream audio from their mobile device to Echo Pop or from Echo Pop to other Bluetooth speakers. For enhanced privacy, the speaker also has a built-in microphone off button. The Echo Pop measures 99 x 83 x 91 and weighs 196 grams.
Pricing and availability
The Echo Pop is priced at Rs. 4,999 and comes in Black, White, Green, and Purple color options. The speaker is available to purchase via the Amazon website, Amazon devices kiosks, and select retail stores across India.
