Airtel has added six new devices to the list of compatible smartphones that supports Airtel Wi-Fi calling. Samsung Galaxy M20, Samsung Galaxy S10 series, and OnePlus 6 series devices are recently added to the list of supported devices. At first, only 25 smartphones were compatible with Airtel Wi-Fi calling.
Here’s a full list of devices that are compatible with Airtel Wi-Fi calling:
- Apple iPhone: iPhone XR, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.
- OnePlus: OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro
- Xiaomi: Xiaomi POCO F1, Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro
- Samsung: Samsung Galaxy J6, Samsung Galaxy On 6, Samsung Galaxy M20, Samsung Galaxy M30s, Samsung Galaxy A10s, Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S10, and Samsung Galaxy S10e.
Airtel Wi-Fi calling feature improves voice calling quality where there is no or poor cellular network, especially indoors. Airtel customers with Wi-Fi will be able to make HD voice calls even with poor or no cellular network coverage.
Airtel recently launched its voice over Wi-Fi or VoWiFi service in Delhi. Airtel Wi-Fi calling is currently available in Delhi NCR, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Airtel is gradually rolling out its VoWiFi service across India.
