Airtel and AWS join hands to boost Airtel’s cloud offerings

Bharti Airtel and Amazon Web Service on Tuesday joined hands to accelerate the digital transformation of businesses in India by boosting Airtel’s cloud offerings. The multi-year strategic collaboration agreement will deliver a set of innovative cloud solutions to large enterprise and small and medium enterprise (SME) customers in India.

Airtel currently serves over 2,500 large enterprises with an integrated portfolio including Airtel Cloud. Airtel Cloud will build an AWS Cloud Practice supported by AWS Professionals, to develop differentiated Airtel Cloud products leveraging AWS and Airtel’s capabilities and services.

Airtel Cloud will offer range of AWS services including Windows on AWS, SAP on AWS, VMware Cloud on AWS, database migration, and security, and risk governance solutions. Airtel Cloud will also leverage AWS services for development of digital applications. Airtel Cloud is already through multiple strategic alliances providing data centre services, managed services, and cloud services to top India and global enterprises, start-ups, SMEs, and governments.
