The Netflix ISP Index for India in March 2021 saw JioFiber retain the number 1 position on the leaderboard with 3.4 Mbps speed. The service provider was however joined with Airtel, Atria Convergence Technologies, and Tata Sky Broadband as joint leaders at 3.4 Mbps speed.
7 Star Digital, Alliance Broadband, Excitel Broadband, GTPL, Hathway, SPECTRA, Syscon Infoway, and YOU Broadband were joint runner-up on the leaderboard at 2nd position with 3.2 Mbps speed.
NXTDIGITAL’s broadband service One Broadband came third on the ISP Index with 3 Mbps speed. State-owned BSNL along with D-Vois and Tikona came fourth on the leaderboard with 2.8 Mbps speed. State-owned MTNL was at the bottom of the ISP Index with 2.4 Mbps speed.
The Netflix ISP Index measures prime time Netflix performance on particular internet service providers (ISPs) around the globe. The ISP Index is not a measure of overall performance for other services that may travel across the specific ISP network.
On the Country/Region Averages index, India was positioned second with 3.2 Mbps speed alongside Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, France, Greece, Italy, Paraguay, Poland, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay
