Airtel 5G Plus

Indian telecom service provider Airtel has announced the launch of its 5G Plus services in Guwahati. Recently, the company launched its 5G services in Gurugram and Panipat. Airtel 5G Plus services are also available in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, Pune, and Varanasi.

The Airtel 5G services in Guwahati are currently live at G S Road, Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Dispur College, Ganeshguri, Christian Basti, Sree Nagar, Zoo Road, Lachit Nagar, Ulubari, Bhangagarh, Beltola, and few other select locations. The telco has also said that it will extend its network making the 5G Plus services available across Guwahati in due course of time.

“I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Guwahati. Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and more,” said Rajnish Verma, CEO, Bharti Airtel, Assam and North East.

According to Airtel, the 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner. The telco also claims that the Airtel 5G Plus services will offer an enhanced voice experience and higher internet speeds. Customers can avail of the Airtel 5G Plus services with their existing 4G data plans until the rollout is complete. Airtel 4G SIM is already 5G enabled and will work on all 5G smartphones.
