Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched its 5G Plus services in three more cities of Himachal Pradesh, including Dharamshala, Mandi, and Baddi. The Airtel 5G services are already available in Shimla. According to the telco, the Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as it continues to construct its network and complete the rollout.

In Dharamshala, the Airtel 5G Plus services are currently available at Kotwari Bazaar, Naddi, Sheela Chowk, Dari, McLeodganj, Yol cantonment, and Sidhwari, while in Mandi, the 5G services are present at Indira Market, Bus Stand, Samkhetar, Bhiuli, and Old Mandi. Lastly, in Baddi, the 5G Plus services are operational at Sai Road, Amravati Complex, Vardhman colony, Sandholi, Birla Textiles, Bhud barrier, and Cipla.

“I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Dharamshala, Mandi, and Baddi in addition to Shimla. Airtel customers in these four cities can now experience ultrafast networks and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up entire cities which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and more,” said Pushpinder Singh Gujral, CEO, Upper North Bharti Airtel.

The company will expand its 5G Plus services across many other locations in these cities in due course of time. Airtel customers with 5G enabled smartphones can enjoy high-speed 5G Plus services on their existing data plans until the rollout is complete and no SIM card change is required to avail of the 5G services.
