Airtel 5G Plus services launched in Haridwar and five more cities of Rajasthan

Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched its 5G Plus services in five more cities in Rajasthan, including Jodhpur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, and Bhilwara. In the state, the 5G Plus services are already available in Jaipur, Udaipur, and Kota. The company has also launched its 5G Plus services in Haridwar, in addition to Dehradun in Uttarakhand.

Airtel 5G Plus services in Haridwar are currently available at Har Ki Pauri, Jagjeetpur, Shivalik Nagar, Jwalapur, Bahadrabad, Ranipur, Khanna Nagar, and Brampuri. The company will expand its network making its services available across the city in due course of time.

Airtel customers in these two cities can now experience ultrafast networks and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and more,” said Sovan Mukherjee, CEO of Bharti Airtel, Uttarakhand & Uttar Pradesh.

Airtel 5G Plus services in Jodhpur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, and Bhilwara are currently available at select locations. The company will expand its 5G Plus services across all these cities in due course of time.

According to the company, Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as it continues to construct its network and complete the rollout. Airtel 5G Plus services promise to offer up to 20-30 times faster speeds than the current 4G, along with a better voice experience. Airtel customers with 5G devices can enjoy the 5G Plus services on their existing data plans until the rollout is complete. No SIM card change is required to get the 5G Plus services.
