On World Environment Day, Acer launched the Aspire Vero laptop in India, featuring 13th Gen Intel processors and focusing on sustainability and reducing plastic waste. The laptop chassis is made of recycled materials with 30 percent post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, while the keycaps are made of 50 percent PCR materials. Acer Aspire Vero features a 14-inch full-HD IPS display, 16GB of RAM, and runs on the Windows 11 home operating system.

Acer Aspire Vero specifications

The Acer Aspire Vero features a 14-inch full-HD+ (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The laptop is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U processor paired with Intel Iris Xe graphics. The other variant is equipped with a 13th Gen Intel Core i3-1315U processor paired with Intel UHD graphics. Both packs 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage.

The Acer Aspire Vero runs on the Windows 11 Home operating system out of the box and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home and Student. Moreover, the laptop includes a 720p front camera at 30fps with Temporal Noise Reduction technology for an enhanced video calling experience. Acer Aspire Vero packs a 50Wh battery that can deliver up to 12 hours of usage.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, one USB Type-C port with DC-in/ Thunderbolt 4 port, one USB 3.2 port with power-off charging, one USB 3.2 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an HDMI port. The laptop measures 32.9 x 22.4 x 1.8 cm and weighs 1.5 kilograms.

Pricing and availability

The Acer Aspire Vero 13th Gen Intel Core i3 variant is priced at Rs. 49,999, while the 13th Gen Intel Core i5 variant costs Rs. 64,999. Both models are available to purchase via Flipkart, Acer India e-store, Amazon, and Acer retail stores in India.
