Since the coronavirus pandemic, many people across the world are self-isolating to combat the deadly virus. To keep people entertained during the pandemic, Apple is offering some of the Apple TV+ Originals content free for a limited period in 100 countries and regions. Google-owned YouTube is also making some YouTube Originals free for all users.
The Apple TV+ Originals content currently available for free are The Elephant Queen, Little America, Servant, For All Mankind, Dickinson, Helpsters, Sesame Street, Ghostwriter, and Snoopy in Space. Users can also go to apple.co/FreeForEveryone to view the list of selected movies and series available for free. Apple TV is available on iOS devices, macOS devices, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and select Samsung and LG TVs.
YouTube is also making some YouTube Originals free for all users. Users who aren’t subscribed to YouTube Premium can also watch the content for free, but with ads. The following content is available for free: Escape the Night S01 to S04, F2 Finding Football, Foursome S01-S02, Impulse S01-S02, Re:set, Matpat’s Game Lab, IDOLiSH7 Vibrato, Me and My Grandma, Overthinking with Kat & June, Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television S01-S02, Step Up: High Water S01-S02, The Fake Show, and Sideswiped.
YouTube Premium is available for a monthly subscription of Rs. 129. The subscription includes YouTube Originals content, YouTube Music ad-free. Family subscription is also available at Rs. 189 per month. Users can add up to five family members. Eligible students can get the Premium subscription for Rs. 79 per month.
