Telecom service provider Vodafone Idea (Vi) has introduced its new Vi Max Family postpaid plan. The company claims the new plan offers the industry’s highest data benefits along with access to up to 18 OTT apps, including Netflix.

Vi is offering the Netflix Basic plan as a fixed recurring benefit with its Rs. 871 Vi Max Family Postpaid plan. For those unfamiliar, the Netflix Basic plan allows users to stream unlimited movies and TV shows on a single device at a time in 720p (HD) resolution. Vi postpaid subscribers can enjoy popular Netflix originals like Squid Game, Wednesday, and Stranger Things, along with blockbuster films such as Lapataa Ladies, Pushpa 2, Jawan, Sikandar, and more.

The Vi Max Family Postpaid plan is priced at Rs. 871 per month and includes two connections- one primary and one secondary. It offers unlimited calling to any network across India, along with 3,000 SMS per month.
The plan also provides a shared monthly data pool of 120GB, where the primary connection receives 70GB, the secondary gets 40GB, and an additional 10GB is available as shared data. Customers also get unlimited night data (from 12 AM to 6 AM) and a data rollover facility of up to 400GB (200GB per connection).
Moreover, the telco is allowing its customers to select their preferred benefits across entertainment, travel, and mobile security. In entertainment, VI customers can choose from Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Sony LIV, or access 17 OTT platforms through the Vi Movies & TV App, including Zee5, Fancode, Discovery+, and more. In travel and device security, customers can opt for a 12-month subscription to Norton Mobile Security or EaseMyTrip travel benefits.
Vi Max Family Postpaid plan also offers unlimited 5G for customers with 5G smartphones and in the Vi 5G area. Vi recently rolled out 5G services in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Patna, and Chandigarh, and the company plans to expand 5G services to all 17 circles by August.
Lastly, the Rs. 871 plan allows users to add up to six additional connections at Rs. 299 per month per connection.
