The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) today allocated MSC codes to Ring Central India in Karnataka telecom circle and Mumbai Metro service area. The company has bagged its maiden MSC code allocation after receiving Unified License (UL) recently.
DoT has allocated the MSC codes to Ring Central India Private Limited for providing Internet Telephony service after considering the request of the company.
In Karnataka telecom circle, Ring Central India Private Limited has been allocated 93790-93799 ACCESS-MSC code to meet the demand of one million subscribers demand. In Mumbai Metro service area, Ring Central India Private Limited has been allocated 92160-92169 ACCESS-MSC code to meet the demand of one million subscribers demand.
“In consideration to the request of M/s Ring Central India Private Limited, the undersigned is directed to convey the allotment of MSC codes for providing Internet Telephony service. Aforementioned Series may be used by TSP except for the active subscribers of M/s Rcom/RTL/TTSL and other port out subscribers (if any),” said DoT in its letter to Ring Central India.
DoT last month awarded International Long Distance (ILD), National Long Distance (NLD), and Access Service authorization under a fresh Unified License (UL) to the company.
The company will provide its Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solutions in India.
