Reliance Jio launched JioBook in India in October 2022 at the India Mobile Congress held in New Delhi. Now, the company is gearing up to launch its second-generation JioBook laptop in the country on July 31, 2023. It will be available via Amazon. A dedicated microsite has been created on Amazon, which reveals the laptop’s design and key features. However, the JioBook (2023) will feature a similar design as the previous model with some internal upgrades.

JioBook (2023) is expected to come with an 11.6-inch display and a webcam. The laptop will run on the Android-based JioOS operating system with pre-installed Jio apps, including JioMeet, JioCloud, and Jio Store. Furthermore, it will be powered by an octa-core processor with support for 4G connectivity. The microsite also suggests that the new JioBook will offer a day of battery life on a single charge. Lastly, the JioBook will weigh 990 grams, which is 210 grams lighter than the previous model.

For the unaware, the last year’s launched JioBook is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 32GB of eMMC onboard storage. It costs Rs. 15,799. The JioBook (2023) is expected to cost less than Rs. 20,000 and will be available via the Amazon India website.

Earlier this month, Reliance Jio launched the JioBharat Phone, a low-cost internet-enabled phone priced at Rs. 999. With the launch of these products, the company aims to expand its digital ecosystem and provide affordable internet access to millions of users in India.
