Reliance Jio has brought in a Rs 222 prepaid plan offering 1 year Disney+ Hotstar subscription free to its existing annual users as part of the plan. The pack is labelled as an ‘exclusive limited period offer’ and only available to select existing annual subscription users.
The Rs 222 pack offers 15GB unlimited data, and 1 year of Disney+ Hotstar subscription. The plan validity is coterminous with the existing plan validity. The plan seems to have introduced for existing annual Jio subscribers who don’t have access to Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription benefit.
The existing annual subscribers get complimentary access to Jio apps, data, calling, and SMS benefits but miss out on Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription which was bundled recently. Jio has rolled out the plan to offers its existing annual subscribers the chance to get Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription without having to recharge with another annual recharge.
The description of the plan in the MyJio app has a tiny Jio link for more detail which redirects towards a TnC listing on Reliance Jio website. The TnC listing reiterates that to continue getting Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for 1 year, Jio user needs to continuously be on an active plan.

Reliance Jio had earlier this month rolled out the Rs 401 and Rs 2599 prepaid plans bundled with Disney+ Hotstar 1 year VIP subscription along with 4 data add on packs which also offer the VIP subscription.
