India’s leading telecom service provider Reliance Jio was today allocated a fresh numbering level for Basic services. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has allocated the numbering level for Basic services to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for Bilaspur SDCA in Madhya Pradesh LSA.
The Telecom Department has chosen to allocate level ’31’ to RJIL for its Basic services for Bilaspur SDCA in Madhya Pradesh LSA.
“In consideration to the request of M/s RJIL for allocation of numbering level for wireline services for Bilaspur SDCA in Madhya Pradesh LSA, it is decided to allocate level *31′ to M/s RJIL for its Basic Services for Bilaspur SDCA in Madhya Pradesh LSA,” said DoT in its letter to RJIL.
In other news,  DoT on 31st August 2021 amended Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order 2017- Notification of Telecom Goods, Services or Works through a Gazette notification.The Telecom Department has declared the around 25 telecom products, services or works are having sufficient local capacity and local competition.
