Telecom giant Reliance Jio is now offerings JioFi at EMIs starting as low as Rs 94 along with unlimited on-net voice and data benefits for up to 5 months as part of its Independence Day offer. The JioFi hotspot device which costs Rs 1,999 can be bought either off-line or on-line.
The EMI options start at Rs 94.09 as per the listings on the dedicated microsite for JioFi with a credit card needed to get the hotspot device on EMI. IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, HSBC Bank, RBL Bank, HDFC Bank, Citi Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and SBI Bank credit cards can be used to get the device on EMI.
The interest rates payable to the bank varies between 12 to 15% depending upon the length of the EMI and the bank which interest to be paid to the bank varying between Rs 43 and Rs 327.

JioFi offers download speed upto 150 Mbps and upload speed upto 50 Mbps in ideal test conditions. The device can be used upto 7-8 hours with a battery of 2600 mAH which can be connected up to 32 Wi-Fi enabled devices, although JioFi recommends 10 devices at max. One can make video and HD voice calls with the Jio4GVoice app.
