Micromax has today launched the Micromax In Note 1 and Micromax In 1b in India. Both Micromax In Note 1 and Micromax In 1b run the stock variant of Android 10 OS out of the box. However, the Micromax In 1b 2GB RAM and 32 GB storage model runs on the Android 10 Go edition out of the box. Micromax has also promised to deliver two years of software updates.
Micromax In Note 1 specifications
Micromax In Note 1 features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and brightness up to 450 nits. The phone is powered by an octa-core (2 x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6 x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) MediaTek Helio G85 (12nm) chipset paired with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM, and 64 / 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It also supports microSD cards of up to 512GB.
In terms of optics, the Micromax In Note 1 comes with a quad-rear camera setup of 48 MP f/1.8 primary sensor, 5MP f/2.2 115-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor, and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 16 MP f/2.0 camera housed in the hole-punch display.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS/ Beidou/ Glonass/ Galileo, 4G LTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include proximity, magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. Micromax In Note 1 comes with a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology and also supports reverse charging.
Micromax In 1b specifications
Micromax In 1b features a 6.52-inch HD+ (720 X 1600 pixels) IPS display with a waterdrop notch. The phone is powered by an octa-core (4 x 2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4 x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) MediaTek Helio G35 (12nm) chipset paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 2 / 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 32 / 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot (supports up to 512GB) for expandable storage.
Micromax In 1b comes with a dual-rear camera setup of 13 MP f/1.8 primary sensor and a 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8 MP camera on the waterdrop notch. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include proximity, accelerometer, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
Micromax In 1b comes with a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and reverse charging as well.
Pricing and availability
The Micromax In Note 1 is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 64GB storage variant and the 128GB storage variant cost Rs. 12,499. On the other hand, the base variant of Micromax In 1b with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage cost Rs. 6,999, while the top variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs. 7,999.
The Micromax In Note 1 comes in Green and White color options and will be available to purchase starting November 24, 2020, while the Micromax In 1b comes in Blue, Purple, Green color options and will go on sale starting November 26, 2020, via Flipkart and Micromax website.
