Reliance Jio’s video calling platform JioMeet is evolving as a complete platform for different segments while steadily increasing its user base. The company today announced that JioMeet had crossed 15 millions users during the quarter ending December 31, 2020. The company’s video calling platform in the meantime is bringing new solutions for large enterprises, healthcare industry, educational, and government institutions.
“JioMeet crossed 15 million users during the quarter. JioMeet is now evolving as a complete platform with solutions for different segments like large enterprises, healthcare industry, educational and government institutions,” said Reliance Jio in a statement.
The company is also deploying IoT solutions for Jio Home users with Jio’s pan India IoT network operational for application in connected vehicles, smart metering, connected assets, and hospitality. Jio is also targeting SMBs with bundled broadband offerings which has seen an encouraging response.
The widescale commercial deployment is tipped to see Jio offer unique solutions such as Connectivity, Communication, Conferencing, Productivity, Marketing, Infotainment, and Devices. The market will significantly expand with such digital solutions and ubiquitous fiber presence.
