Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator by subscriber base is offering a 24 hours grace period of unlimited on-net calling after the plan expires. The grace plan was credited to the Jio number of one of our readers whose plan expired yesterday.
The 24 hours Grace Plan is activated once the Jio prepaid plan on the mobile number expires. As you can see in the above image, the Grace Plan is expiring this morning. The plan will automatically be activated if you haven’t already recharged before the expiry of your current prepaid plan. The validity of the Grace plan is the same irrespective of the validity of your original plan.
Incase, you have run out of a recharge and are unable to do so immediately, this is a helpful plan which will let you call Jio numbers for the meantime before you can recharge your Jio number with a prepaid plan.
In other news, Jio recently announced the launch of a new Rs 2399 annual plan with 2 GB/day high-speed data and 12000 off-net voice minutes. Alongside it also launched new Rs 151/201/251 Work From Home data packs. Jio has revamped the Rs 251 Work From Home pack to offer data without any daily data cap, earlier it used to provide the pack with a daily data cap and standalone validity.
