India’s one of the leading telecom service providers, Reliance Jio, has launched its Jio AirFiber services to provide high-speed wireless internet connectivity to users. Jio AirFiber utilizes the Jio True 5G network to deliver broadband-like internet speed of up to 1 Gbps. The service currently is available in eight cities. The company claims that Jio AirFiber will overcome the challenges of last-mile connectivity and enable every household and small business to access the internet and digital services, making India a leading digital society.
“Our extensive fiber-to-the-home service JioFiber, already serves over 10 million customers, with hundreds of thousands of more getting connected each month. But there are still millions of homes and small businesses to be connected at a rapid pace. With Jio AirFiber, we are expanding our addressable market to rapidly cover every home in our country with similar quality of service. Jio AirFiber will enable millions of homes with world-class digital entertainment, smart home services, and broadband, through its solutions across education, health, surveillance, and smart home,” said Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.

Jio AirFiber also offers access to over 550 digital live TV channels, subscriptions to more than 16 OTT apps, and Smart Home services, such as Cloud PC for Education and Work-from-home, security and surveillance solutions, Smart Home IoT solutions, and more.
Availability
Jio AirFiber is currently available in eight metro cities in India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune. Users can give a missed call to 6000860008 to check the availability and book a new connection via WhatsApp. Alternatively, users can visit the Jio website or Jio Store to book a new Jio AirFiber connection. Customers will get a Wi-Fi router, a 4K Smart set-top box, and a voice-active remote at no additional cost.
