The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) yesterday reminded all telecom licensees holding CMTS License, UAS License, Unified License, and Unified License for VNO to furnish compliance reports on FDI and Paid up Capital.
All concerned licensees holding Unified License, Unified License for VNO, UAS License, CMTS License issued after 2001, and CMTS License issued prior to year 2001 are required to furnish the compliance report on FDI as on 1st day of January and 1st day of July of every year to the Licensor.
The clauses in the licenses also require concerned licensees to furnish a compliance report on Paid up Capital as on 1st day of January and 1st day of July of every year to the Licensor.
“All the licensees holding CMTS License/ UAS License/ Unified License/ Unified License for VNO are advised to furnish the afore-mentioned compliance report(s) in a timely manner,” said DoT in a circular.
Verbatim of DoT’s letter to Telecom Licensees
1. In accordance with the clause 1.2 of the Unified License, clause 1.2 of the Unified License for VNO, clause 1.2 of the UAS License, clause 1.2 of the CMTS License issued after year 2001 and clause 2(ix)(a) of the CMTS License issued prior to year 2001, the concerned licensees are required to furnish a compliance report on FDI as on 1st day of January and 1st day of July of every year to the Licensor.
2. Further, in accordance with the clause 1.6(ii) of the Unified License and the clause 1.6(ii) of the Unified License for VNO, the concerned licensees are required to furnish a compliance report on Paid up Capital as on 1st day of January and 1st day of July of every year to the Licensor.
3. All the licensees holding CMTS License/ UAS License/ Unified License/ Unified License for VNO are advised to furnish the afore-mentioned compliance report(s) in a timely manner.
