The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) today officially invited prospective bidders to the pre-bid conference for Spectrum Auction 2022. DoT has issued a formal notice for the pre-bid conference that will be held next week on 20th June 2022, Monday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
The pre-bid conference will be held at Sanchar Bhawan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi. The pre-bid conference can also be attended by prospective bidders through video conference (VC). India’s official video conference application BharatVC will be hosting the conference online.
The prospective bidders keen to join the pre-bid conference through video conference (VC) have been requested by DoT to send an email to DoT by 5 PM, 18th June 2022 to get the pin for joining the said VC. For further assistance, prospective bidders have been advised to get in touch with concerned officials in the WPF wing of DoT.
In other news, the Department yesterday released the guidelines for the surrender of the access spectrum by access service providers. The Government has okayed the surrender of spectrum acquired through auctions held post 15th June 2022 subject to terms and conditions.
