The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) earlier this week allocated 13 digit M2M numbering series to telecom service provider Bharti Airtel. The allocation came in consideration of a request filed by the telecom service provider with the Telecom Department.
DoT on 21st March 2022 allocated fresh M2M numbering resources for Delhi LSA. The allocation is of 2 million numbering series to Bharti Airtel for Delhi LSA. The M2M identifier 3 digits are 575 and the licensee identifier 4-digits are 4207-4208.

In other news, the Telecom Department last week allocated fresh MSC codes to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for UP West, UP East, Tamil Nadu, and Bihar LSA. The allocation will help the telecom service provider meet the demand of one million subscribers each across the four telecom circles.
