Download hundreds of icons from here - Folder Icons - Download 4,530 Free Folder Icon (Page 1)

Unzip after downloading and after that you can change icons by that simple method. (In dialog window choose the folder where these icons are placed)

Searched a lot but haven't got any thing except registery tool.
Yes, that's the drawback of Windows that it don't allow you to customize Btw do you know how to remove that 6 folders (Downloads etc) from My computer screen? (without registry files)
After Updating to Windows 8.1, don't know why they added those folders in My Computer Screen with Drives It looks so odd because from starting we are seeing only drives there
