mine is not downloading...showing initiazing only😔
It'll start downloading after initializing. Wait for few minutes (It takes time). If it doesn't then restart your computer or run windows update troubleshooter.

If all these didn't work then you can download update from here: Microsoft Update Catalog)
Make sure to download correct file.
After download run that file and follow on screen instructions to install it.

now its automatically started installing..bro dont know what was the problem..
 
should i delete windows.old folder after the april update?? its eating my 19gb c drive space
Go to check update.
On right side find check storage

It will check and shows full drive file storage.
Temporary files
Click temporary files folders.
It's will take a time to measure file size
And remove temporary windows file

It will delete windows10.old file

Is there a way to permanently disable windows update service?
The windows update service is automatically getting started a couple of days after disabling it through services app.
And whenever windows update service starts ,the computer freezes with disk 100%.
my windows edition - windows 10 pro
version - 1709
os build - 16299.248
