Seeing the above reply from Vodafone, it is no where stated that they will NOT leave India. They said that they are not aware if they are leaving India. "Vodafone India is not aware about anything about the subject as it pertains to Vodafone Group."

What a load of bollocks. They are leaving and very soon. Highly possible London has decided to leave and one fine morning Vodafone India CEO will have a letter on his desk..."Dang!! You're fired"

They have already fired (transferred) their previous CEO Mr.Balesh Sharma.

It won't be good for india if a brand like Vodafone have to close their business. It will effect on foreign investment.. Even the banks who gave them loan also going to suffer and they have to reduce interest rate on deposit. So it would be bad for indian economy.

If Vodafone exits, then the Govt.(We) will bear the burden oF banks with huge debt. TRAI must consider of Floor price (minimum recharge) at the earliest, then some relief for Vodafone and BSNL.

If vodafone is going to leave india then the future will be dark in hands of Jio.
In my area only vodafone has good coverage and superb speed.
In my area, airtel has good coverage in outdoor but i don't get good coverage because of 2300 mhz network band in INDOOR. Airtel also has 900, 1800 mhz band in here but i don't get signal from those band most of the time. So i was planning to take Vodafone sim but now i have to wait..

Reliance Jio advises Airtel, Voda Idea how to raise money
If Airtel liquidates “small parts of its assets or issues 15%-20% new equity,” in its Indus Tower business it can easily raise the funds, Kapoor Singh Guliani, president for regulatory affairs at Reliance Jio, said in the letter. Vodafone India also has stake in Indus Towers, “thus there is no dearth of sources to pay” their dues, he said. Airtel’s tower business operates more than 163,000 mobile-phone towers across India.

They're asking directly to pay the fine. Jio is one tough company poking nose everywhere. They literally want every telco to go bankrupt.
