In the market currently Airtel has better reputation than Jio, Vodafone Idea and BSNL. People lost confidence in Vodafone since the rumours of them leaving. Also most has no faith in BSNL. Jio has created mess by IUC and also be less competitive with its bundled offering.

I haven't used Vodafone's VOLTE yet. But Airtel's VOLTE is fine now. Only IVR options of its own customer service doesn't work. Plus I like having options like 2G atleast until next 2 years. It's convenient for now during commuting through trains. And in the urban areas network with better internet speeds will dominate. That's why Vodafone is doing great in West Bengal and Assam.
Airtel VOLTE works fine in Urban areas, they shall concentrate VOLTE in rural and semi urban areas on 900 mhz. But Vodafone Idea have pathentic 4G nework.

Again this depends on your area. Jio for me sucks at crowded and rural place. At rural place most people uses Jio as primary sim for internet.

Most people were using Jiophone in rural areas as cheaper option. Airtel shall release Jiophone killer!

In 2015 our priority was getting a 4G handset with Band 40 supported 4G because of Airtel 4G. Not buy 4G plans but be future proof atleast. Post Jio's freebies launch we required VOLTE supported handset which weren't available under ₹9999 excluding Lyf handsets (remember those?). And most phones at that time didn't offer latest version of Android. People bought with handsets with Android 5.1 and Android 6.0 which doesn't support 4G on simultaneously. Now Jio only has 4G network. If one switches to Airtel or Vodafone's internet. Sim won't work. So, they ended up being connected to Jio's only bandwidth 4G creating congestion in crowded areas where Jio has failed to expand till date since 2016.

depends on area..bcz That is not the case with Gujarat..Both in terms of Coverage n quality ..JIO is Way ahead then AVOID...AVOID 4G coverage is still limited to Only top Big cities of Gujarat ..like Ahmedabad Surat Or Vadodara...in Other smaller cities or Town..we Still get only 2G/3G Network on AVOID..so even with IUC ppl here still very much preferring JIO only..

They will slowly expand as per demand. We don't have Starbucks here. I am happy with Coffee Cafe Day. You won't find be complaining about Starbucks as simple as that.

You can't compare JIO with Starbucks ..starbucks is for Elite or rich ppl...Not for everyone.. while JIO service is accessible to even rural ppl or common man in India....If jio is providing 4G it doesn't mean they are providing any premium service..its just They are providing services with Upgraded infrastructure n current technology thats it...
