Cricket is a religion in India unlike SA.It comes with all potential pitfalls and immense pressure.A comparable job would be English football team captaincy.No matter what you do,the criticism is inevitable.

True. Kohli and other seniors should have complained silently to bcci but this never happens in India. News always leak out whether it was kohli to be removed from odi captaincy or his removal from test captaincy if he loses sa series.

Infact before I was part of case study, I also had similar views as you have but those changed once I came to know the reasons of his dismissal.

I also think Rahul Dravid will be a successful coach as he is more like shastri than like kumble
