Maybe, I am not sure. They haven't announced 5G plans yet. I don't know exactly. They just announced 4G upgraded plans just few days before and have launched 5G in next few days. Give them time. They are upgrading sites with backhaul. Atleast in my circle. From 40Mbps speed cap to no cap I guess. Not sure exactly what's going on. Vi has lowest backhaul in three operators and they are slowly upgrading it. You need 1Gbps backhaul for the kind of spectrum Vi has. So that's why it's just testing purpose and that's why only 20Mhz DSS.
These are the speeds right now. How much more speeds you want with the kind of offer they have right now? Good enough for two years. Two years back I was capped to 40Mbps. That's why moved to Jio 5G with Poco F5, now back to Vi 4G with Motorola. My usage never went above 500GB per month, no hotspot. Airtel people struggled with 300GB data limit. Now 12 hours unlimited even with 4G/5G is enough. But I will be happy with N78 blanket coverage. First set of Nokia and Ericsson gears have reached with Vi. Let's see. BSNL is in full throttle as well. Can't wait to see their 5G by May.
