bro they wants to collaborate with Indian private cos in space and other sectors they'll indirectly do support them that's why they reduced budget for isro and they even plan to set up base even in Gujrat beside in Bengaluru p.s im nt sure why they want to shift from bangalore to gujrat . beside that they even set up NSIL they are open for private person for space psu ceo and got proposal from 40 pvt cos relaeted to space infra - most of them seem to be start up hope they also create new infra and new tech not just end up depending on tech made by isro .Budget allocation related to S&T-
Department of Atomic Energy- In 2021-22 year- 18264 cr. This year - 22723 cr. That means some 4000 cr more
Department of Space(ISRO come here)- 13949 cr in 2021. 13700 cr this year.
Department of Science and Technology- 6067 CR IN 2021 VS 5917 CR THIS YEAR
Scientific and industrial research- 5224 cr in 21 vs 5636 this year.
Department of biotech- 3502 CR in 21 vs 2581 cr this year. That's a decrease of 1000 cr.
Ministry of earth science- 1897 CR IN 21 vs 2203 cr in 2022.
Total in 2021- 48903 cr
Total in 2022- 52760 cr
/ Not happy about Biotech allotment. Should have been more considering Corona crisis and other health problem that is looming over India. Same with ISRO. Many launches including mission to Sun, human space flight, Venus mission, Chandrayan-3, Space center are planned and there is a cut in budget.
