The Parliament canteen, now run by ITDC, will offer as many as 58 food items—both vegetarian and non-vegetarian—from January 27, an internal circular said. The price tags, however, don’t smell of subsidy. For many years, the Parliament canteen had tried to strike a balance between the quality of food and its price but for the first time, food will be served with a no-profit-no-loss approach.

Budget session: Parliament canteen expands menu, hikes prices

Useless budget for common folks. Don't know what Dalal Street is cheering about?

The expectation was that something negative would be there in budget but contrary to the expectations of market she didn't put up anything negative, hence the rally. For ex.poor chaps like ITC which makes Cigarettes or Alcohol producing companies are always under the fear of Sin taxes and especially at times when govt. needed money. However,Nirmala Tai resisted from putting up such burden on companies,
Anyway personally i feel that this is the best budget she has given with the most positive thing was that she left the things untouched :D
