TRAI recomends fine of Rs. 3150 cr on Airtel, Idea & Vodafone

Here is the full news, Well done:

TRAI has asked the Department of Telecom to impose a penalty of nearly Rs. 3,000 crore on incumbent operators for failing to provide adequate interconnection to Reliance Jio.

As per TRAI, Airtel and Vodafone have to pay Rs. 1,050 crore each and Idea Cellular has to pay Rs. 950 crore. The penalty has been imposed for violating quality of service norms.

It is so obvious that they will not provide enough Interconnect points to Jio. They will be ready for fine but if they lose customer, that will be more damaging.
Guys, all this certainly means that after 31st Dec, things will be very awesome for Jio subscribers.

But after the reduction of data price by avoid Jio plans are not as attractive as it should. And need some modification.

Jio should remove the WiFi data limitation, and give subscribers the choice to choose whether he wants to use that data via cellular or via WiFi network. Otherwise for 95% customers these WiFi data is useless
 
@Sarkar bro. Agreed. Plans are not impressive. Jio promised that they will provide more data at cheaper price. But I don't see it. We have to pay 499 even if I have to get 1gb or 149 plus 151 for 4gb.
