Cricket is even part of Asian Games... It never got limelight may be because India never participated in those games... If I remember correctly Sri Lanka and Bangladesh won gold... Cricket wasn't played in 2018 edition and is going come back in 2022 Edition as of now..

Coming to Olympics, Los Angeles Hosting committee and USA Cricket will also be pushing for Cricket In 2028 edition along with ICC efforts to popularize the game in USA... Times Internet particularaly has a $1 billion investment riding on it...
